<p>Venetia van Hoorn Alkema has been working in photography since she graduated from the Paris Photographic Institute in July 2008.
Before this she achieved a degree in Art History from the University of Edinburgh, which is where her first forays into photographic theory and practice took place.
Venetia's art background and her keen interest in fashion have led to a specialisation in fashion photography inspired by her knowledge of 20th century paint and sculpture.
She also photographs events and musicians with the same artistic eye. Venetia lives and works in London.
